Protein description

Actin from non-muscle sources is a mixture of β/γnon-muscle actin isoforms. Both isoforms aresingle chain polypeptides with a molecular weight of 42kD consisting of 375 amino acids. ATTO565-Actin is chemically modified G-actin with an ATTO565 fluorescent group covalently bound to lysine residues.ATTO565-Actin(λex563nm,λem592nm)possesses the polymerization properties of native G-actin.

Conjugation ratio

This product is supplied with a degree of labelling (DOL) of ~0.3 and is thus ready-to-use for TIRFM and other high- or super-resolution timaging echniques.
